Tyre pump

Well, it's what you want to pay for a chinese pump.
I bought one from the bay that works fine (around £20)
The named ones seem about the same quality :)

many years ago I bought a small compressor and soon after bought a forecourt type tyre inflator - exactly the type you see at petrol stations. I needed it, four family cars, 4 motorbikes and a trailer added up to about 30 tyres. Wasn't going to do that lot with a foot pump. It is ace for pumping up landy tyres.

I have just got one of these, will be giving it a try out in the next day or so.

Only need it for emergency use ,

While you two are arguing over, sorry, discussing who has the compressor, this is the one that I've got.
It's a single cylinder but seems to do the job adequately. The pressure gauge doesn't seem to be as accurate as I'd like, but I tend to use an external gauge anyway.

Well , that is one of them T max units the OP was asking about.

If the OP is still reading this then, It's a chunky little unit, very little plastic on it apart from the air intake filter/silencer, the yellow coiled air line can reach the full length of the Disco (just). The valve connector is a screw on which is a reasonable idea because you have to fit it to the valve and then go to the compressor to start it.

Hi yes just reading all the replies thank'you . I have a small compressor but it would mean wheeling it a fair distance to where the van is , i do also have a small cigar lighter powered pump which is ok which i use on the cars but feel i need something a bit bigger for in the back of the van like the T MAX type and there is a cheaper look alike on ebay , and i also always use a separate gauge so thats not critical , not paying silly money whatever i get . But thought i would ask in case someone knew of a bargain cracker .

Just checked out the ebay one as above the price is certainly ok , But i'm swaying towards the one brian47 has , thanks for the review Brian , i was thinking about a T-max but wasn't sure how good they were .
