Hello People.

From my searching this seems to be an age old question.

Does anyone have or know of a place to get a double cab roof.

Yes im thinking of turning a 110 into a double cab.

If anyone is breaking one please PM me. FYI ive checked the local breakers, looked at north offroad.

Can't find one. :scratching_chin:

Ebay they come up on there sometimes but not cheap, then you need the tub as your tub hasnt got a bulkhead to seperate double cab from pick up and the back window panel

Theres a crowd that do a fiberglass rounded section for the back of the roof, and you just cut and shut your SW roof with it, thats what i did and made a bulkhead out of some c-section (crossmember) and 1.5mm ally sheet.

im developing a fibreglass (carbon fibre) roof that will be cheaper than the one secondhand roofs on ebay. I refused to pay mega money for one secondhand and am halfway through converting my 110 van into a double cab.

Its alot of work though.

I like the look of double cab but I think I'd prefer to have a proper door at the back. What is the advantage of going double cab? I converted the back of my CSW to van sides and took out the seats.

i had to do it in order to meed commercial tax regulations here but to be honest the setup suits me better anyway, can keep all the muddy waffle boards, ropes etc out of the cab, or the dog for that matter!

You can also get "boxes" for the back to give you some security for stored items.
I had a colour coded one added to my double-cab to ferry my dog about in; had roof vent and sliding side windows too.

You can just about see it on this pic

Very nice looking landy you got there!

Please keep me posted on how that goes. I have been looking for a fibreglass roof. Have you any indication as to when you will be ready to produce and sell the roofs?
