Tv doesn’t seem to work.

Hey there!, new post since a long time! Didn’t have any trouble or questions in the last 8/9 months, but. I’m looking at a new l322 a 2011 autobiography black edition. But the tv doesn’t work, I don’t think it has any signal, is there anything I can do to change this, do I need to change a module?

Not sure when digital TV tuners became standard so you may have an old analogue one.

Didn't you get answers to/look into all of this last year, with your dad's 2009 vehicle?
How is he btw? Fully recovered? Is this him updating veh? Or are you getting this one for yourself?

Yep, but this is a 2011 l322 so no clue how this works. Not fully! But he is up there, one more surgery and he should be back on his feet like the old days. It’s him upgrading, when I told him about the black series he was sold. And then one came for sale here in the Netherlands. So we’re looking to buy it. But he wants the tv to work. So that’s my task.

Have you viewed the vehicle yet? Is there actually a difference between 2009 and 2011. Have you asked the seller what the issue is? Have you done any research at all?

I’ve seen the car, test driven it (it’s crazy fast for its weight) but neither he and the seller could get the tv working. And they are a Land Rover specialist :/

Then I suggest he tells the specialist that it's on them to fix it. If a specialist doesn't know the issue , something is amiss.

We can get tv in the UK, Germany.but that was a few years ago (we have a 2011) We cannot get it here in BG.
Think there’s some sort of magic to change it to digital available.

Is your dad gonna be driving? He cant watch it

, make sure it’s dual screen.

There is a lot of settings in there to choose, but if the so called specialists don’t know

get them to sort it if they want a sale

there’s all sorts of PAL choices in the menu

.

What is this “black edition” you speak of?

If it's an analogue tuner it's not faulty so strictly speaking would be classed as an upgrade to digital, which was easy to do on my 2005 L322.

Which he must've done last year when he asked the same thing about the 2009. Hence my "have you viewed the vehicle".

I have no idea but as he was given all the information, and his dad has had the car a year and a bit, I suppose they have managed either way

If he did get it working on the 2009 car he can take the tuner out and stick it in the 2011..............maybe

Gotcha, logic response. I saw that bud had no clue what were the right settings. It’s the Autobiography Black Edition. Special edition. Leather roof and all, rear vanity mirrors, special wheels, special grill, special side vents, lots of luxury. Only 700 made.

Tv doesn’t seem to work.
