Turbo manifold pipes.

Hi there guys just joined forum so hello to all. - need some advice here- any help greatly appreciated. Have removed my old knackered turbo from 300tdi and have new one to fit. However the cast iron pipes on the old turbo don't want to come off - have tried blowtorch,penetrating oil and thumping with piece of wood. any tips?

Take the entire manifold off, it's a lot easier... in fact i'm not even sure they should separate!

I've taken the old turbo off completely with manifold pipes. Did a quick check online and new turbos seem to come without these pipes. Tried to search for new set of pipes as might be easier- no joy so far. Thanks for quick reply.

Try a search on here. I'm sure I've seen a "how to" regarding getting the manifold separated from the turbo.
