Disco 2 Tuning - Viezu UK

Has anyone tried a Viezu map on his Td5? I never heard of them before but a local tuner is working with them and I thought I will look into it.

Getting a remap from one of the tuners in the UK is not easy for my 10p ECU as I have to ship it for chip replacement.

What's your ECU part number? you can buy remapped chip with socket and all you need is to find an electronist willing to remove your chip and solder the socket, a friend of mine bought one from these guys and it works really well: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Performanc...a=1&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

That is actually extremely cheap compared to the offers from reputable tuners.

My engine is a 2001 10p and I don't know if the ECU has been touched by anyone before. I have never opened it to see if there are visible marks.

That's actually a fair price for what loading a chip with a fuel map implies as the chip itself is "cheaper than 'chips"

the price quoted by reputable tuners is exagerated IMO

I understand where you are coming from but my understanding is that you are buying the knowledge and time of the person who wrote the map. Maybe is not as hard and time consuming as I think it's also repeatable which means they only do the hard work once.

Can you please refine a bit "I know where are you coming from" and what do you meant by it?
Not the rest of your understanding, because that that is quite basic.
Just want to know if you are " geographical biased"

Dictionary:
If you say to someone you know or see where they are coming from, you mean you understand why that person has a particular opinion, often although you do not have the exact same opinion.

If your explanations will make a sense, that will be plus.
