Hello (again....)

The tub runners are buggered (the outer ledge has corroded away in chunks on both sides). The only way I can see of replacing them, is to take the roof off. This is a bit scarey, as it would mean drilling out (unless there is a better way) dozens of pop rivets. I'm not short of jobs to do, but I'm trying to develop a plan of works (ooooh hark at him) so I can knock jobs off the list, as let me tell you, there a fekin dozens!! Atleast this way I'll feel as though I'm getting somewhere. Part of me says ( the lazy chocolate biscuit eating part) why don't I just grind them off and catty them up before spraying?

So, if this is the only way, are there any tips on how to do it?

cheers
Ken

Directly above the rear seat back rest, there are a pile of rivets that go across the roof from rear door to door. I assumed (dangerous I know), that this was how the whole rear area was stuck together. Bolted from the tub caps onto the sides, then riveted from the top of the side to the roof. There are certainly no shortage of rivets in that area.... I still may be a complete ****wit though as regards how it goes together, but thats what it looks like...

No, it's just a 110 with the 12 seats, no partition or anything. I know its got a bit of a past though, and some bodging may have taken place. hopefully, some pictures will show what I'm on about.

Ahh, yella!

that makes sense!! I'll have another look at it at the weekend - I didn't realise you could do that. Sorry for the daft question!
cheers
