Bet he already has the welder out…Any updates
Thanks! Drives bloody well for it too! I was going to rebuild the engine when welding but I may just stick a belt on it for now. Tempted to put a head gasket on when I do the belt to see how the insides look at 200k!
I keep changing my mind with ideas. I think I’ll just keep sorting the body out which is fairly inexpensive and I’ve also got things like bushes and an a frame fulcrum in my Landy box and save to completely do the engine and hit it in one.A good eyeball over the head for flow correction maybe ?
That hole clips onto something to stop it rolling back up.Does anyone know what bit this hole was for? Was there a liner attachment available that clipped into it? If so I need it to finish it off

There’s a bit of elastic with a popper on the back of the seat to hold it rolled up.Does anyone know what bit this hole was for? Was there a liner attachment available that clipped into it? If so I need it to finish it off

Cheers. It feels so much cleaner.Headlining looks good! What’s in the glass on the armrest box? Stella, samigel or Perroni?
Ordered a ton of corroless and some thinners. Not sure what I’ll top coat stuff in. Wanted epoxy mastic but that seems to have gone silly prices. Got a couple sets of bearings and washers etc in stock. Think I’ll start on rear axle today in between house jobs and get the needle gun out.
So much better to have an idea of what I’m doing this time and also have the room and not worry etc. I can take my time and enjoy it all. The neighbours are sound and seems there won’t be tooooo much grinding and chopping anyway.
