Ask around some of the local garages, they must get their jacks tested as they are classed as lifting equipment and need tested every 6 months under LOHER. Who ever tests them should be able to fix them.
I agree look for hydraulic repair company, lorry rams, JCB rams etc.
A local tyre place I use,a few months back I had this conversation with them and they just dump em and buy cheap jap imports,because when they break its cheaper tax wise that was their take on the situation anyways.Not true, the 6 monthly inspection (which I had yesterday) are carried out by a seperate company that just inspects, you are then given a fix it ticket and then someone else will come and fix faults...
