Trolly Jack Broken

I have a superb Trolly Jack but after all these years its finally given up the lift!

Anyone know of anywhere in essex that can fix them or would i be better off cutting my ties with the 30yr old lift and get a new one?

If it lasted that long then it's probably worth fixing

just some more oil and o-rings perhaps?

When I was using it I had a van jacked up! I then saw the van slightly lowing next thing I no it couldn't hold itsel anymore the more I pumped the more it dropped. Now does not
Rise at all. It was about 150quid 30years ago so it's a pukka jack but finding someone to fix it is like gettig blood out a stone

i wouldnt even no where to look! Have not a clue how to even check if oil is in it.

can you post a pic ?
there will be a bolt or nurlde knob somewhere on it to fill with hydrolic oil

pull the handle down there will be a bung on top of ram cylinder as the outer skin of ram is the reservoir

I agree look for hydraulic repair company, lorry rams, JCB rams etc.

Top replys chaps! I shall be on the case i think first of all im going to find the bung/plug and see if it has oil!! After that will go from there!
