Trip meter resets itself after refuelling??

Hi,
Something new that's not happened before.
Since changing the Battery( may be a coincidence) I've noticed when I refuel (twice now) the trip meter resets to zero automatically.
Any ideas please?

What disco?
You have probably pushed the button on the stalk to show something.
