The postman delivered these this morning. I've got my 2006 TD4 SP booked in for a full service new week (inc ALL filters) and will get them added. Fingers crossed I'll notice a little more 'grunt' people report on, I'll report back and advise :D

if that is one of those "oiled" performance filters for get it as the oil damages maf sensor but you will notice a bit more performance as those hoses do not expand like the ones that are fitted the turbo power goes strait into the engine

The K&N filter can damage the MAF, use with caution. In theory, there is no performance difference between rubber hoses and silicone hoses. The silicone do last longer and less likely to fail. If your hoses aren't leaking or collapsed inside, sorry but performance will be no different. Looks wise Red looks good ;)

I have a pipercross air filter fitted, but I'm changing it for a standard one this week.

The red hoses do look good though.

Thanks guys. The K&N filter seems to divide opinion. I am going to get it fitted anyway and see how we go, I have rinsed it off prior to fitting to remove any excess oil.
