If you notice in your photo and mine the relevant symbols being used are all highlighted in white, the "spare" ones are highlighted in black.
Maybe that's the answer, if so you will then have to find out why/how it's illuminated.

Ok thanks ,

Hi all, sorry for the delay. Got under the landy and no pipes leading from the gearbox to the front and can't see any thing that looks like a cooler. On the wiring loom that does the reversing senser on the gearbox there are two female terminals on the passanger side of the gearbox about 4 inches long one covered with muck and the other cleaner cant find anyrhing withing their reach to attach too. And the wires go into the chassis. So at the moment I'm trying to track the wires from the back of the light ,it disappears into a taped loom whick doesnt help. Ive also checked the oil leveles where i changed the oils no problems there. That's as far as its got .

That i don't know. I'll have another look tomorrow. Like i said, one very dirty with muck. The other looks surprisingly clean.

Manual gearbox will not have a gearbox temperature warning. They were for the auto box version.
Has the landy been converted or instrument cluster changed.

That i dont know, sorry. The light has either got a short or connection is going somewhere ?i put tje reg i to dvla before we brought it and came back as manual so maybe the cluster has been changed.

No sorry, I've injured my back and trapped a nerve so I'm not able to get under the landy at the present time. I'll let you know when I'm more able.
