Have to say thats a wealth of knowledge you guys have.
Apparently om told the bush has been an issue for this model for a considerable time and LR have been aware but did not correct until 2011.
My gearbox can be overhauled and a brass replacement but in for £2k plus vat...
Bang goes the new windows she wants at home

Phil repairs the 5HP24 blindfolded, you could always ask him if how much he would charge to refurbish your 6HP24, you would just need to get somebody to take it out and put it back in.
Phil has the wealth of knowledge, I just remember some of the things he has told us, but not always all of it and not necessarily in the right order.

Will your transmission drive in 4th, 5th or 6th gear when at normal operating temperature? If so, it’s unlikely to be the bush leakage issue as your E-clutch is still working. Swapping solenoids around is definitely a cheaper thing to try first.
