Transfer box removal and refit

Well my transfer box on my 90 is leaking and causing vibrations from output shaft bearings. Iv got a decent second hand one to fit but iv not done this job before. I have an engine crane and was thinking of using it through door with middle seat base removed. Is this a big job or fairly straight forwards?

If you've got a crane easy do exactly what u have said take the middle seat out to take the weight then undo both propshafts and undo the crossmember and bolts then slowly lower it down whilst wiggling it off shaft.

If you're a fairly methodical worker you should be ok just don't forget to drain the oil out of it first

Thank you marmaduke them bolts looked handy. Think I'll take seat box out and put hoist through door. It's not been long since it's been out so shoul debt be too difficult to undo bolts. If my flu improves I may have a go tommorow.
