Hi, my disco packed up on me today, could not get the gear shift into D, it would go into reverse but nothing else. Any ideas?

2 years old, no problems so far, HSE model, 25K miles, auto v6.

have you tried moving selector by hand at the gearbox end? sounds like part of the linkage has come adrift.
