Anyone ever had a rear trailing arm snap? It happened to me a few weeks ago and was ‘interesting’ to say the least! Driving home having to use opposite lock, both ways, just to keep it on the road when going on or coming off the throttle! Just glad it was a cheap and easy fix.

Had the exact same thing happen on an old Nissan Bluebird, welded it back together and auctioned it.
To happen to a tractor is not something I would expect at all.

How far did you drive it like that on the road?

Just saw you're in Essex, carry on, you're a couple of hundred miles away from me thank Christ.

You must be a bit hard on the machinery Stevie, I've done a bit of thrashing on the dirt but not broken one of those, ever, bent one but not broken.

My disco has never been off road! The two 4x4 specialists I went to, to get a new one, had never heard or seen of a tubular trailing arm snapping like that.

luckily, I was 5 minutes from Home on country lanes.
