Tub cappings riveted back on ill paint the rivets black though as they're abit outlandish
Do you have an air riveter ?
Thinking of getting one as the little hand rivet gun is doing my tits in
Yes it's in the middle of the pic ... haha it's good but it keeps blocking which is annoying haha
I thought it was a drill
Definitely gonna check one out or an EZ rivet gun
They're very good just a squeeze of the trigger and that's it 1 squeeze 1 rivet done simples
Sounds like a plan far better than squeezing multiple times just to find the stalk breaks off too soon!
I've only had 1 break off half way along the stalk on the whole truck so can't be faulted haha
Wooooo, now that's good progress for a bank holiday
Remember to spend lots of time planning your loom and make provision for extra additions in future by adding extra switch space/blanks, extra fuse/relay space and extra wires in your loom
For instance running a length of 7 core cable from front to back of the car stopping at your dashboard fuse box and any other important places along the way is a good idea, that's a cheap easy neat way of leaving plenty of cores available for things to add in future without breaking into your loom again
I don't mind wiring I've rewiired a few of my mates trucks and getting things going
I'm moving / waterproofing the fuse box and adding extra fuse space, I've got a raptor dash with plenty of spare switches and things which helps although I'm using switches for electric fans, sort lamps ect so they'll disappear soon I'm making new wiring to the headlights to be able to withstand 100W plus bulbs
All joins are going to be soldered and heat shrinked and isolator switches are being added too so it's a big job
The longer and thinner the wires are the higher the resistance, and thus you get a voltage drop and a voltage drop will cause dimmer lights!
