anyone know how to test the throttle position sensor?
I am getting low idle problems and eratic idle at times.
Some start ups are low idle with no pedal response until the revs pick up after 5-10 seconds or so.
Any comments appreciated guys

Hi Tom.
I had some problems with my V8 on start up and idle and found that my air intake was not sealed so the engine was getting extra air, i reseated it and it appears to be getting better. I did test my throttle pos sensor to see if it was sending a signal. On the V8 there are three pins, one of which is common
the tester on ohms setting and moved the sensor to see what it gave me. Depending on wether its reversed or not will show the meter going up or down and if the readings are pretty much the same at the start and finish points as mine were then we could asume it's okay. Where are you in the world.
