Hello. I need to to my Disco V8 Auto on a bar. Im informed that i need to go slowly. Whats the safest way to do this please and why is it a problem?

How far?
Engine drives torque converter, which pumps oil around the gearbox, tow it with dead engine = no oil flow.
Pop the props off might be the safest bet?

I'd put the box in N and tow it slowly. I should be fine for 4 miles. It's not ideal, but should get you out of a hole.

t/box in neutral theres no drive to gear box, so you could tow it to the moon and back at any speed with no effect on the box
