Towbars

Hi All,

Does anybody have any experience of fitting a towsure towbar & removable ball to a 2005 Freelander? It seems simple enough, but the instructions on the web say a small bumper cut is required - just how small is small?

I don't need the electrics just now, but they also offer an integrated wiring kit, has anybody used this? - if it works it must be better than the £400 quoted by the dealer?

For what it's worth, don't know about the Towsure one but I fitted a Witter removable towbar & electrics to my 06 last weekend, it was a doddle, no cuts to do & plug in electrics.

One of the easiest jobs I've done on a freeby.
