Err sorry for so many questions but the photo started me thinking!

its a digitizer screen so you need to use the pen. but, I have a touch pad attached to the cubby box with some hotkeys. Its got a 40GB HDD so it holds memory map fine. I have just bought a 500GB rugged Hitachi drive which im loading with my music for our next trip along with maps and it will hold our photos to.

keep it cool? its doing fine, but i guess i could open the vent infront of it if it starts heating up. I know a chap who has the same model and its returned fine from over 11 sahara trips.

You've not considered changing the HDD with a solid state version? I now they are more expensive but with no moving parts they are more reliable too. Essential for the music... pretty handy for nav too I guess!

Evening Rusty! Hope it's all good with you guys!

Doing very well, thank you :). Hope the same goes for you :)

Griff - you might have something similar already but a utility like SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer will let you keep an eye on things.

We also have a hard drive (battery/mains/12v operated) for backup of photos - we don't trust only having one copy of stuff.
