Torque wrench spec for Defender 110

I'll buy cheaper tools, and I have one of those torque wrenches from Lidl. I don't see the problem. If I use a tool enough that I wear it out, then I'll go and spend a good deal more money and get one that'll last a lot better. The torque wrench from Lidl is a nice solid piece of kit anyway. I bought a whole toolbox for £20 from Lidl a few years ago. It came with about 15 spanners, the same number of alan keys, a socket set with around 30 sockets, some deep ones and some spark plug ones, also loads of little extras like a circuit tester, electrical crimper, mole grips, screwdrivers... Alright, the ratchet is now knackered, but I've had a lot of use out of it, and I went and bought another ratchet for about £30 to replace it. All the sockets are still fine, and everything else in there. If I ever break one of the 17mm spanners, then I might got and spend a tenner on a new one, but If I'd have bought all those tools separately, I'd have been not much better off in terms of my tools, and I'd have spent an _enormous_ amount of money

a nice solid torque wrench is ok, but is it accurate? the proper britool etc come with a cert, i bet if you wer to send a £15 torque wrench off to be calibrated it would come back 10 - 15 ft out of accuracy , used to send them off every 4 month to be calibrated ( or scrapped ) depending

tbh if you go for a reputable company you don't need to spend big money for piece of mine. draper or clarke will be fine for a DIYer and will cost around £30 for a 210Nm one which will be ok for most jobs. my 2p.
If you can afford snap on, then get that, but most people don't have that kinda cash sitting around.
