Gold rover was your vibration coming through the seat or the whole car? On first inspection my injectors are good. The vibration I have is very obvious through the seat so just wondering if your was the same before I go to the expense of having the injectors removed and tested

Ok so injectors tested and unfortunately no issues which points to the t/c or gearbox I guess.
Not sure if live data whilst driving and as it was juddering helped or hindered but I'll start another thread and explain that. See if anyone has any ideas

Just out of curiousity, and in case others need the info ,where did you get the injectors tested and what did it cost?

It was at a garage in Bristol. No idea of cost as not had the bill yet. It's a garage used by a friend who swears by them and uses them a lot so they were happy to send the bill on.

No worries. I know mine was around £90 but don't know who they sent them to, as trust the garage.

Funny you should say that. One of the fault codes was engine stability controller. Would that cause the symptoms then. The tech couldn't get his head around why it only did it in 5th. Doesn't happen at any other time and the data shows nothing in 5th that isn't happening in other gears

Hmm an RRS I can cope with but a Freelander!!!!!
I'll get the codes checked again after a few days. The car did have an injector issue before I got it so I'll see if it was an old code or if it's still an issue.
