Hello there, I'm coolerking, named after Steve McQueen, and the fact that I used to be a refrigeration specialist pipefitter welder.
I'm looking at (have been for some time) getting a s1,s2 possibly, a very early s3 if the right one comes up. Tax free diesel, a bit of a project but nothing too much as I do want to use it as much as I can, 20 mile trip to work every so often and a little bit of green laning to start with.
My dad has had an s1, v8 s2 and a couple of s3's when I was growing up and I've always liked them. The mrs's family have had and still have a few defenders in every day use, including a brand spanker straight out of the dealer 3 months ago, alas, I've not got that sort of cash unfortunately and I want fun in it without cringing.
Oh, I'm Manchester area as well. ;-)
