Sorry I know I've asked this before but I think it must've been part of a different titled thread I posted as I can't find it now that I need to. I need to give my auto elecky instructions on Monday as he is fitting:

1) Where should he put the main module?
2) Where should he put the two sensors (I'm guessing the top of each front pillar)?
3) Where should he put the microwave thing?
3) Where should he put the anti-tilt thing?

Hopefully there'll be different suggestions so that any thieves referencing LZ won't know exactly where I've put stuff. Cheers if you answer. Actually, cheers if you don't.

2. top of A pillar pointing to the centre of the vehicle. Yer will be able to move these directionally a bit normally.
4. tilt sensor should go ont something metal that dun't move and is connected permanently to the vehicle. All it's doing is tellin yer the vehicle has tilted but needs to be secure so yer dun't get false triggers if it comes oft. Also secure so it give warning of vehicle being tilted.

Cheers. Just in time (I'm writing a note for garage as dropping off early in morn :0)

Feeling a bit depressed. It's that horrible feeling that comes when someone hasn't done what you've asked and you don't challenge because you accept what they're saying as professionals, what they say over-riding what you expected and thought they should do and asked them to do it. Will someone who knows all about TOADS who I can trust let me send a conversation request, so I can check out if the auto-electrician who's had my car a full day more than he said (but did have other jobs) is talking rubbish or is right? It's telling someone who knows where everything has been put, so for obvious reasons I can't put it on a forum.

Cheers for the offer. Everyone's so helpful but someone's already gone through everything with me. Feeling much better about it now (apart from the electrician having to come out to me today). I wasn't turning the ignition 2 steps and leaving it a few seconds before starting, kept trying and kept immobilising it

Tis always a good eye dear to test an alarm once fitted. Sit still int side and alarm it. After 30 seconds move a bit to see if it goes oft. Walk past it and see if the microwave picks up yer presence and warns/cherps or wotever it does. Rock it to see if the alarm triggers. If yer hit a window with the palm of yer and it should go oft. Open each door. And smash a window... Each time setting the alarm ont before the test.
