To use lacquer or not..

If it was me, i would try Aroldite.It should also bond the foam together a well.You will have to strap together the broken away foam once you have applied the Aroldite.A piece of wood wrapped in a rag eitherside and then pulled together with strip on a slipknot should work......That polish should be Ok for all cars,just make sure that it is not black as it comes out of the tin. I use Mcguairs Gold as shown at the bottom of the page of this link.

Hi again, it's all looking good but I need to smooth the paintwork before I spray the laquer on should I use glaze or G10?

You don't smooth the base coat b4 you put the lacquer on.
