Look at my name DUH LOL
I ordered my Marshall Gauges from SCX Full Sweep Performance Auto Gauges from Marshall Instruments

To play with turbos and tuning for more power, good gauges are a must.

These are full sweep electronic programmable gauges with high and low alarm settings, warning lights, programmable instrument lighting and peak reading logging.

They are US made and one of the best on the market performance gauges.

I also got an Innovate programmable EGT gauge with data logging,

Included in my line of gauges is a G-Tech Pro performance meter which indicates and logs HP, Torque, G forces ( D: on a landy) RPM, shift lights, 1/4 mile run time, 0-60 mph/time etc., and gives you graphs with HP.time or HP/torque and more combinations.

I had a few of these from before and thought it best to install one in the landy too, would be nice to see performance gains while tweaking.

Gauges to be installed:

Boost
EGT
Fuel pressure
Oil pressure
Oil temperature
Water temperature
volts
HP, torque, G forces, 0-60, 1/4 mile run etc

This entire package measurements are very, very accurate so quite expensive too. Since I was and to some degree in the performance business, this is a must for me.

I use a calendar for my 0-60 time. I reckon sometime in mid June, then another two weeks to come to a standstill again.

+1 :D

I am interested in economy - but performance?? Pah! as said above its a land rover - me no bothered.

Oh yeah, for the record, if that floats your boat, then go for it.

Those gauges do look nice tho - I am just fitting several extra to my D1, well, I am supposed to be, but I can't decide where to put them !!

Thats funny blue. I am installing the G tech mainly for RPM and to see the little gains you get from tuning the VE pump. Everyone tunes and have no clue what the gains are.

I only mentioned the 0-60 to show what the meter also does but would be fun to see how fast or rather how slow the landy is :D

lol g force meter

fast n' furious eat your hearts out!

Vilguy, if you looked at my first post here I wrote "G forces ( D: on a landy)"

The D colon was supposed to make a smiley face, guess it did not work because it was in brackets.

BTW, though being in cars, racing and the performance business, I NEVER saw a single fast and furious movie, would be swearing at the fake movie stuff and prefer to race than look at it :)

Unless your building a race truck to run the ragged edge all the time it seems a little excessive. Especially since its a Land Rover not a Skyline.

I built race cars, turbocharged BMWs including one which I have to tweak and comple which will produce more than 550 HP I had a full Euro Performance shop up to 2 years ago in Canada

For fun I will build a high performance 300tdi engine later.

I prefer bmw's as they have a wtf moment

Been there done that and still love it, time to make a fast Landy Sleeper.

Here are a few pics of my performance shop and my adrenaline high pressure pump...a Euro e30 with an E36 Euro M3 3.2L fully rebuilt and turbocharged.

If you do anything about BMWs or performance, you will know what was done to that crank.
