Copraslip on the threads. If you have any sense that is.
me too, but just had a guy in the warehouse where I work go on and on about how you shouldn't use copper slip on plugs
A warehouse man will have a lot of knowledge about things mechanical then?
I didn't take him on, just nodded and smiled
he must like using breaker bars or stud extractors
In the case of hamfisted bastards they may have a point. Plugs are hand tight then a nip. That could happen if the plugs were torqued up. So if you use a torque wrench reduce the torque specified for your particular plug slightly if using anti seize grease. Or is that too complicated for some to understand? Personally i have never used a torque wrench for plugs in over fifty years. Not had one break yet.
back in the 70's with alimiumn heads plugs would stick and bad. so change plugs once a year was common practice. Then in the 80's was every 50k miles then ford, dodge sourced plated plugs which helped
For £20 for a new set of ngk's I change mine at least every 2 years.
20 quid for a set of 8 NGK Spark Plugs, where from please??????
