Bit of a delayed catch-up, painting was finished a few weeks ago, I've been having to much fun to stop and upload but here goes.
The back had not been touched as it was right up against the garage wall so nice weather and the "tent" disassembled meant I could get on this this area

Then for some nice warm summer weather, in perfect Series 3 summer pose.


There have been a few issues in the last month or so, the brake master cylinder started leaking so I replaced this, and I've fitted a new trailer light connector and bracket as it's now an MOT requirement and my previous way of attaching it with some wire tied around it is apparently no longer acceptable.

So I used in the end about 3L of primer and about 4L of top coat, plus equal amounts of thinners, this was all supplied from Paddocks, and I believe is HMG paint, seems good stuff.

Jobs to do are sort the wheels, fit some original series station wagon side panels which I have and spray the roof in limestone again just to finish it off.
