Ticking noise

Morning all,

Had my Disco Td5 for 6 days now and am starting to hear things

The most prominent is a slight ticking noise that seems to be coming from the gearbox or engine, sounds like tappets on an old ford engine or a worn thrust bearing that's starting to fail.
Not sure if this is how the Td5 engine is supposed to sound as it's the first I've owned.
Also it seems a bit bouncy on the road, once again I've only ever driven a 300tid Disco before so not sure if this is how the Disco 2 feels, other than that all currently seems fine.

Shouldn't be bouncy , is it on air or springs? The ticking may be worn timing chain guides.
