Thrum at 1200-1300rpm TD4

Noticed a thrum/vibration when changing to second gear, car also does it but less so if you rev to 1200 to 1300rpm.

Freelander only has 250miles on so wondered if this was just because it was new or if this is common, just didn't seem to do it when we picked it up and has only just started. Freelander does it with and without Roverrons box?
 
Have a look at your engine sound cowel not loose ,and also the sump gaurd underneath [bolts missing]i had this when i first bought motor. . .;)
 
If I rev my engine it sounds bloody fantastic :D
Can't get enough of that lovely stuff. Will soon have a diesel though....yuk !!!
 
is the gear lever shaking when this happens?, it could be the damper on the gear change selector

if you mean the engine cover?
it would sit on top of yer engine but your car is too new so it will not have one, LR stopped putting them on td4's a few years ago.
