Firstly, why call them 3 amigos - they are no friends of mine - 3 bastards would be a better description.
Started getting them intermittently after changing vcu (cant think of a connection though). Read all the threads. Changed brake light switch (no change), Checked and cleaned connection to gear stick switch (no change). Checked and cleaned all 4 abs sensors, all ok around 1200 ohms (no change).
By then I was **** wet due to our crap climate. Luckily I remembered my highly technical skills from years of working on Series One Landrovers, so I hit the ABS box of tricks with a hammer. Next time I started it all lights went out.
Stuck valve or crap in the fluid? All the wiring seems ok. Read somewhere dirty/old brake fluid can cause this, or am I looking at something more expensive?
