Well after touring around spain in there td5 for the last couple of months my mum and dad are on there way home. I got a call from the old man when he reached portsmouth, not to say hi we're black in blighty see you tomorrow when we've driven up.... But to tell me he has a gearbox oil leak and he wants me to help him do it over a "weekend".
I dont have to much info at the min only the bottom of the gearbox is covered in oil and he's having to put a couple of ltrs in every few hundred miles or so.
So the big question, is there a common oil leak problem for the box? and if so is it an east fix or will we be removing the box etc?
I can see a couple of days of stress as "help" normally means he'l make the tea.
