Well, after lots of looking around the Kent/Sussex area I finally found one I am happy with 
it's a 2005 5 door td4. I will post some pics tomorrow on my day off
Having absolutely no mechanical knowledge whatsoever, I am hoping its ok lol it certainly drives ok. But should anything go wrong I will certainly give it a go, lots of helpful info on here that inspires a bit of confidence to have a go yourself.
