Has anyone fitted the 'insulating' (not sure if that's the right description) rings used on the later RRC's ?
They are 10mm thick, but do they simply provide insulation between the spring & seat or actually raise the body by same amount in the process?
Part # BDYANR2938
Descrip. 1A-30 Plate
What are they made of?
If a rigid hard plastic then I would have thought they would raise the body by that amount.
Is there a particular issue that they are supposed to address as in the 25 years I've had my RRC which wasn't fitted with them I can't say I've noticed anything.

Yes black rubber I believe, but certainly rigid. I'll browse Paddock's website & see if the items are still available.
Don't know if they were intended to address any particular issue, maybe to reduce any metal to metal vibration between the spring & it's seat?
