2 litre bottle of room temp tap water is de icing and demisting my windows in the mornings while everyone else is faffing with de-icer and scrapers I just make sure my wipers are not stuck to the screen put them on intermittent then pour some water over the screen jump in and drive off

im waiting on x2 uprated stats for my seats if there not here by friday i dont care seats are comming out n getting fixed that leather is bloody cold

im riding around on my bike alday nothing wimpish about that. i do have heated jacket n gloves tho lol

Either for them or us, for instance if something went wrong, would insurance cover it do you think?
Did you buy replacement elements? If so, from where?

will be doing this job tomorrow my uprated seat stats arrived today what timing il take some photos and post up.
lots of good how to guides on here but time for an updated one. roll on the snow
no new elements just going to fix the old ones

Well let me know how you get on. I couldn't for the life of me get the rear off the seat. No matter how much force I used I couldn't get the bolts to budge a mm.. and I'm no small fry!

depends on what went wrong !
Presuming the towed vehicle and towing vehicle are both, taxed, insured and MOT'd they both have respective insurance cover.

right got todo this repair today passenger seat first simple job once you strip off the seat cover i cut the hog rings off with snips. found 2 broken wires cut them back soldered them up fitted the uprated thermo stat put it all back and refitted the seat back into the car.
next the drivers seat well this is where it didnt go to plan some ones been in there befor and taken out the bloody heating element. not happy the stats there but no heating pad seats back in will have to get a complete new heating element
