I do not agree with you.Nothing wrong with the vehicle, like most times its the driver.
Thats your prerogative but if a driver is aware of the size of his vehicle and makes allowance for it, then there is little chance of an accident. The same goes for any driver of any vehicle.I do not agree with you.
mick, Automotive design engineers are compelled to design vehicles that meet stringent safety standards. If the appendages like the one in the photograph were fitted to the vehicle prior to the safety test it would not be passed fit for sale (would not meet construction and use regulations).Thats your prerogative but if a driver is aware of the size of his vehicle and makes allowance for it, then there is little chance of an accident. The same goes for any driver of any vehicle.
I never get cars trying to force their way past me in the 110.
As in traffic where lanes merge etc. I am almost always let in.
People will more often than not let me out as well.
Whereas in my van l used to get afforded no courtesy at all.
I think that Defenders are not seen as a "threat"
However my wife when driving her 90 often gets bullied by male drivers in BMW's, Audis etc, or they try. I think it's the "woman in a 4x4" syndrome that's seen as a threat to their manhood.
