Hi I've got a 2.5 v6 freelander 1is there any manual to tell me how to change the thermostat as the only manuals say not for v6 any help would be appreciated

Have you considered putting a back up thermostat in the top hose. It is a recognised fix and is so easy to do. It is well documented on here with plenty of good pics. I did it recently and it works great.
Why do you need to change the thermostat?
Rave will have the necessary information.
It's a 4 hour job, more if you need to extract it from the block and make good any sealing faces.
It's possible to do DIY, but you need to know the KV6 well, or strip the engine down methodically, labelling every wire and pipe.

If you watch through this how-to video done by a US supplier it will give you an idea what the job requires. The Freelander they show is the NAS version so a few things are different to the UK model but the major part of the job is the same.

Hi I'm new to all this but my fan looks like it's been rewired and runs 90 % of the time and its bloody loud someone said it's probably because the thermast isn't working so they make the fan run more

Thermostats usually fail in the open position, in which case it would run cold. If it failed in the closed position then it would overheat. Regardless how long the fan operated.

How do you know the fan has been rewired? It's speed is controlled by the engine ECU, so isn't easy to mess with, unless the control unit has been bypassed.
If the engine is running hot, then the fan will run more than it should, but you need to check the engine temperature on the OBD2 live data to prove actual engine temperature.
In my experience, the cooling fans of the KV6 do run quite a lot. The engine makes lots of heat, as does the gearbox. This heat is removed by the radiator, assisted by the fans.
Not on the KV6. The wax capsule normally leaks its wax, preventing the thermostat from opening.
The dash gauge is stabilised, so shows normal when the engine is between 75°C and 115°C.

It seems I have a lot to learn you're all so helpful thanks for all the advice. I obviously need someone close to get lessons from
The KV6 Freelander can be a mine field to look after.
But if you want to learn, or want someone who knows them to take a look, then I'm in Cornwall.
