One side needs a very small repair, probably with just weld it's that small, but the other side is solid. There'll be a video going over the chassis as well.

Good Luck Mate, That looks a nice Straight Truck shouldn't take that much, Or whats the Chassis like, ?

Doesn't need a great deal, but it'll be gone over in detail in one of the upcoming videos.

That funny little split/rot bit on the otuside of the dumb irons was the same both sides, I used a small neatly cut bit of flat steel, welded neatly its looks oe espocially as its on both sides.

The pooch is a patterdale/Lakeland cross. Flighty, but awesome.

Can't really justify galving the chassis. I know the missus said a full strip in the video, but she doesn't understand what that means when you talk Landrover . This one isn't get the running gear removed, as it's really not that bad underneath at all. The chassis isn't bad enough to warrant stripping all the running gear off for the little welding it needs.

Episode 2 for anyone interested. I know the stripping videos will be the most boring to watch, but there is some exciting parts arriving for the next part of the process.

Also, really debating just pulling the rear tub off to do some welding. We have replacement bolts for the rear crossmember, so they'll already be undone. How many more bolts is it, and can you remove a rear tub without going to the extent of removing seat boxes and floor pans?
