The end of the diesel engine?

Ha-ha it makes me laugh when I hear these left wing nut balls say stupid things like this. Banning all diesel engines in the world is like saying we are going to ban all white people from the world. I think you will find the world will collapse pretty quickly in either instance. They will give it ago but they are being thwarted by normal logical minded people in many counties as they have finally said enough is enough of all this insanity. All that is required is for people to stand up and start saying NO! To the nut jobs. It’s a bit like saying we are going to ban Lake Windermere as we get too much rain fall in the monsoon season in India.

And the unregulated emmisions from trains off course, and plant and farm tractors ; )

So add on the military and private jets, and that is probably knocking on the door of 20% of all emissions.
And the emissions are produced in a very damaging way, high up in the atmosphere.
And many flights arent really essential.
So that sounds like a big part of the problem to me.

a face mask is of no effect against diesel particulates as they are 2 small you need a suitable gas mask
