Indeed, all that’s fit for now is the crusher
they will turn to dust
just found another video,
Sorry don’t think it’s working
There’s even a utube video of the rangie
That is a right comedy of errors, how not to try and recover a motor, had a good giggle at that
ive stripped range rovers and others that have been submerged in sea water, seats look ok but all the wire and springs rots awayIndeed, all that’s fit for now is the crusher
Taking the mickey is one thing but a jealousy borne glee is quite different.

His attitude did grate a bit when I watched the vid. It's still a green oval and deserves better. Manual or auto wouldnt help anyway when you're beached to the floorpan so hes got as much of a clue as the owner.
All the same, it is a Chelsea chav Choo Choo and the owner is completely incompetent so it's probably a form of euthanasia for the poor car
mechanicals can generally be salvaged/rebuilt,things like diff but auto box would be stuffed, chassis is ok as you say after a good rinse and wax as would body etcWas also thinking of the seat frames inside and if they would ultimately be ruined
Suppose plastic trims might be ok, chassis maybe after being dipped and throughly cleaned and treated ???
Indeed ref the electrics , also I imagine all the mechanics are finished as well ??
But as you’ve taken them apart u have alot more experiance of what can be salvaged

as long as its stripped completely fairly soon it could be rebuilt, though crushing would be the most expedientSurely the engine would also be finished , unless of course he hydrolocked it
also I suppose it greatly depends how quick the parts are removed , stripped and cleaned as if they can be reused or not
Still intrigued really if the ins will pay out on that , as in a clause of not taking a vehicle on a beach, ( of course don’t know if that exclusion is there or not )

That ‘recovery’ is pretty amateur. They clearly have no respect for a winch cable.
Makes sense now why the copper was telling them to stop trying to rescue it, saying how people were in danger.
Cheers
Looked to me like they were dead pulling probably 5 tons of vehicle and water, stuck in sand, with a winch and hook with loads of people in close proximity. I am
Sure one guy even steps over the tensioned wire. Not a winch blanket etc in sight.
Tboth recovery truck's now stuck
