Whent off in gerty to pick up a new shed to convert into large duck house for the missus.... on the way home she suddenly and without warning lost all gears at a very busy road junction about 3 miles from home.
As is typical with the land rover community around here, the very first land rover that appeared, stopped and offered me a tow home. Apart from the embarrassment of being marooned at a busy junction and being rescued by a Disco (albeit a good old Disco 1) I now look at the funny side of how this must have looked.... a Land Rover towing another Land Rover which in turn was towing a large trailer with a shed on the back (unfortunately I did not think to take photos) - must have looked like a Somerset version of one of those Australian ""Land Trains"
Thanks Dave - I don't know you from Adam, but you are true gentleman and only hope that someone will do similar for your should you ever get stuck yourself
