Hi everyone, I had to have the AA out last night due to the car overheating. When he arrived, it had cooled down. He could'nt find any leaks or blockages. He thought it might be an air leak. Got into the car this morning and guess what. Over heated again. I am at my wits end with it. Keeps loosing water but no leaks what so ever. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks Wayne

Take more care looking for leaks. They are not always obvious. Look down the righthand side of the engine to the bottom of the top hose. Water pump could be leaking. Other than that, thermostat could be stuck shut or rad header tank cap leaking.

there's the core plug thingy behind the exhaust manifold which is a common things on the disco td5's.

My mates had a hose that goes round the back of the head that needed replacing.

What have you done so far to try and fix it?
