I'm sorry I wasted your time
You didnt waste our time, but apart from Clutchdust,(who recently left a main dealer) no one else on here does D3 stuff.I am just getting to them as they are starting to come out of warranty.
Try Land Rovers Only forum, they have a D3 bit on there,BUT its US based and they tend to be a bit highly strung, and think they invented it all.;)

Ah... No sorry bud but I as 8inaV says none of us do any work on them.

Try going to a stealers and ask to have a look under the bonnet of one (pretend your intrested in buying for best results) to see if you can get what your looking for.

What are you trying to achieve and someone will no doubt be able to help out...

I'm doing research into the TDV6 engine, making a space frame chassis for it, just doing some background work thats all

That's all????

It sounds like quite a lot to me from here.

What's the space-frame chassis going to be designed for exactly?

On-road? Off Road??? A trip to the moon? Or just a jig to hold an engine?

There's about 1,000 wires and lots of computer stuff needed to make TDV6 engine run.

I think we want to hear a bit more about this.

As you noticed, not many people in this forum think TDV6 or Disco-3 has got much to do with LandRover. There's really no connection.

wasn't it fitted to the s type jag as well? Then moded for the disco im sure i read it some where. Mind i don't suppose that helps with engine mounts!

The engine was a joint venture between Ford and PSA,nice kit to use, looking forward to them coming out of warranty so people will ask for diagnostic work on them.(I wont be buying one for a long time tho,I really cant see any point in spending more than £4k on a vehicle - unless its a really special trials bike.)
