tdi into series 3

Hi

Anybody know if its possible to fit a disco tdi into a series 3 and whats involved and any probs etc

it goes straight in my mate has just done it although you need to remove 1 stud from series gear box and fabricate an exhaust but not too bad a job and now he needs some brakes
