Hi all, in true fashion a faults turned up on the RR- luckily I joined the site yesterday

So- today after work I noticed the idle has gone really low (around 200 rpm).

It's just had oil/filters and the crankcase breather upgrade, as well as a new main thermostat- any suggestions on what to look for?

Background information (if relevant) it's been sat for 4 days prior- went to work in -6 this morning around 6 miles away. It's a 2005 facelift with 137k on the clock, gearbox was serviced last September by previous owners garage (yet to check any of that as it's cold ). Only other noteworthy point is I've noticed a boy racer style whistle coming from the rear when I let off the accelerator- but read this was pretty standard so thought nothing of it.

Anyway, no codes as yet so I'll get the foxwell on it now

Bleeding hell its a wonder its ticking over at that, I would go over the work you have done and check it if tick over was fine before.
I think it was nearer 490 rpm (didn't realise the first line was 500 ).
I've checked everything over- can't find a bloody thing. Stuck the tester on- cleared all codes then checked the remainders (usual suspects so nothing out the ordinary there). So decided to wait until after rush hour and get fuel/go for a spin. Revs back to normal and no issues doing 20 miles of bypasses. Putting it down to gremlins, or something that'll bite me tomorrow on my way home from work
