Disco 2 TD5 won't start - diesel leak under tank

Our 2004 Disco 2 has been running fine up until this afternoon. Went to start - didn't sound like it was firing on all cylinders.....and cut out. Tried turning her over but wouldn't start. You can hear the pump making a whooshing nose (sucking in air) which isn't right.

Left it for an hour, came back and there is a huge puddle of diesel on the floor below the tank. I've had a quick look but I can't work out where it's coming from. It is dripping from the centre of the tank.

Any suggestions on where to look - would a hole in the tank cause this ? Or could there be pipes which have split ? Cheers.

pipes that go to sender/pump unit on top of tank they run across the top of the crossmember

Looks like a right royal pain to replace. Expensive paperweight sat on the drive until I get round to it

Recently had mine done, if you go to someone who knows what they are doing it is not a tank out job just a bit fiddly.
I was charged two hours labour (£108) plus part (£130) and 50 quid for recovery to garage.

Hi, Do a search on the "green pipe" that should give you somewhere to start.

Is it usually the green pipe which goes ?
Just to make things harder, the suspension has collapsed as well - will have to order some new bags.
