I HAVE A 2001 TD5 WITH 16" WHEELS THAT I DONT LIKE VERY MUCH IF I FIT 17" WHEELS WILL THIS UPSET THE GEARING OR ANYTHING ELSE ?
Why all the shouting, can't be that bad can it?I HAVE A 2001 TD5 WITH 16" WHEELS THAT I DONT LIKE VERY MUCH IF I FIT 17" WHEELS WILL THIS UPSET THE GEARING OR ANYTHING ELSE ?
Why ?depends on what tyres you put on
Why ?
I know all that, so if the overall height of the wheel and tyres is the same as the standard set up the wheel size can be 17 or 18 you just use a lower profile tyre ? but if that is the case how can the later TD5s run 18 wheels which dont seem to use a lower profile tyre ?
215/75R16
235/70R16
255/65R16
255/55R18
are the standard D2 wheel/tyre sizes.
Note the aspect ratio change.
Peter
Actually ill take that back ive just seen a few sets of 17s on ebay so they do exist lol
