Td5 ticking, scored cam

hi pal, you will need new head gasket and new head bolts, turner engineering is the best place to buy.
As for cam shafts the 10p and 15p are different and cannot be interchanged.
you will also need the yellow sealant from turners to seal the cam carrier back down to the head.

but to be honest in my case it didnt make a change at all, i still have the ticking fault which is quite bad now and now it misfires on idle lol

Oh sounds like more expense then, contacted Turner and the injector rockers are only available as a set with all 5 rockers and shaft, then need camshaft and head gasket set.
I am still inclined to look for a decent second hand cam shaft and see if I can get the rockers to go with it, if anybody has one I would be interested.

Strange that you still have the tick, I would think about re visiting the lash adjusters as previously suggested if they are not taking up the free play then the rocker would come down on them with a crack at each sweep, did you check the valve rockers? or possibly even a little end knock but that would be at 2X engine speed. and a bit more of a knock than a tick.
