td5 starting problam

can anyone give me some advice im new to this site so not shure if im posting in rite place
bought a 2004 landrover discovery td5 landmark on the way home its started to cut out.
got it home and started going through the usuel things
changed the fuel pump new
fuel filter housing new
fuel pressure regulator new
injector seals new
still wont start on fuel
it will start on easy start but cuts out when u stop
had it on computer and no faults come up

don't no how to check if the pressure is correct im more of a part time landy person.stick a welder and a rotten chassis in front of me and im a wizz lol

Okey Dokey,

If I was you I would start by checking the fuel rate at the FPR. As the High pressure side of the pump can fail but fuel willl still get to the FPR. I popped the fuel line off at the FRP and checked to see how much fuel ended up in a measuring jug over 10 secs of pump run time.
Fuel rates can be found in the Rave manual.

Crank sensor failure can also stop the motor running or low battery voltage.

wouldn't a crank sensor fault show up on dianostics.
will check the fuel pressure over weekend

On cranking are you getting a reading from the crank sensor? iirc it should be reading 280 or so, but is a long time since I looked at it. Mine did give a fault every now and then on diagnostic, but it was not 100%, before it went kaput.

nope not checked will have a bash at that over weekend too...
beginning to think I bought a lemon had lots of d2's and never had this much trouble lol
mite park it up and let nature reclaim it ha.
